OutSystems Japan announces<br>Innovation Award Winners

OutSystems Japan KK (Headquarter: Roppongi, Tokyo. President: Arnold Consengco) announced today that OutSystems Innovation Award Ceremony was held at the “OutSystems Customer Conference Tokyo 2020” online event on October 16 and Nissan Motors, Maeda Construction and Toyota Industries IT Solution were named as the Innovation Award winners. OutSystems Innovation Award is awarded to companies with most innovative initiatives using OutSystems low-code development platform. The award had been presented at NextStep EMEA and NextStep USA, OutSystems global conference, until this year. This is the first award ceremony held in Japan.

The award category and the reason for each winner are as follows:

Company: Nissan Motor
Category: Best Digital Customer Experience Award
Award reason: The customer relation system developed with OutSystems resulted in a seamless customer relationship and reduced waiting time in sales operation.

Company: Maeda Construction
Category: Most Innovative Project Award
Award reason: Over 200 applications were developed with OutSystems while migrating over 3500 Notes DB and resulted in strengthening IT governance.

Company: Toyota Industries IT Solution
Category: Enterprise Transformation Award
Award reason: With new development process using OutSystems, the organization of development team and preparation of app platform resulted in 30% reduction in delivery and cost and contributed to high ROI.
